STAMFORD DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS SCHOLARSHIP
Dollars for Scholars have extended their deadline! All applications should be submitted online on or before April 17th to be eligible for our scholarship.
If any members of GOPIO have children graduating from high school in Stamford Area, they can go to the link given below for application. While applying, they need to specify "GOPIO Scholarship" in their application so that the review committee will tag them against ours. Please note that being a member alone does not guarantee an award - they still need to meet the criteria listed in the scholarship, and all final decisions will be taken by the Stamford Dollars for Scholars review board.
We are also collecting donations to add to the GOPIO-CT Scholarship Funds. If you would like to donate, please check the link below.

GOPIO-CT SIXTH ANNUAL DIWALI CELEBRATION CANCELLED
Dear Friends
We regret to inform you that due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, we have to cancel our Sixth Annual Diwali Event on November 10, 2012. Most of our members and friends have been adversely affected and are working towards getting back normalcy in their lives. All payments will be refunded. Please contact our member through whom you bought your tickets. We sincerely regret any inconvenience to you due to the cancellation, and hope for your continued support.
